Key takeaways
- Distill Laser Clinic is our first pick: it names two laser devices, says pricing starts from $40 per session, offers a free 15 to 20 minute consultation and lists a medical director.
- Sonia Cosmetic Clinic shows laser hair removal prices on its price list, including full face at $59, bikini at $80 and full body at $249, and Emerald Skin Lab prices by area size from $129 to $485.
- Only three of the seven clinics publish laser hair removal prices on the pages we read. For the rest, ask for a written quote that names the area, the number of sessions and what is included.
- Ask which laser is used, who performs the treatment and how many sessions to plan for before you pay for a package.
Laser hair removal is a series of treatments, so the clinic you pick matters more than the first price you see. Prices vary by area, and some clinics list only a starting price. This guide compares seven North York clinics we researched, explains why each one is here and says who it suits best. For a wider view of local clinics, see our Top 10 Medical Spas in North York. All details come from each clinic’s own website.

How we chose these clinics
We started with a broad pool of North York clinics found through search results, directory listings and published local guides. We then read each clinic’s own website and kept the ones where we could confirm that laser hair removal is offered and where the clinic is. Several well-known clinics were left out because their sites did not allow us to read them, or because we could not confirm that they offer laser hair removal.
For each clinic we looked at:
- Treatment details: the laser device, if named, and the areas treated.
- Transparency: whether prices, hours and consultation details are easy to find.
- Who is behind it: a named medical director or a statement about who performs treatments.
- Access: location, opening hours and how you book.
- Fit: who the clinic suits and where it may not.
We did not visit these clinics for this guide, and we did not use star ratings from review sites, because they cannot be compared fairly across platforms. Statements about equipment and experience are reported by the clinics themselves, and we say so where it applies. Read our full ranking method.

The seven clinics
1. Distill Laser Clinic: best for clear device and pricing information
Where: 1275 Finch Avenue West, Suite 407, in the University Heights Medical Building, with free underground parking.
Distill Laser Clinic names the Cynosure Lutronic Clarity II and the Candela GentleMax Pro, and its website says they suit skin types I through VI. It says laser hair removal pricing starts from $40 per session, and that the final cost depends on the size of the area and your treatment plan. It does not list a per-area price table. Financing is offered through Affirm, subject to eligibility, and a membership program gives discounts to returning clients. The site lists Dr. Sarwat Ibrahim as medical director.
A consultation is free and usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, and the clinic is closed Sunday and Monday. You can book by phone, through the website form or through Instagram.
Best for: clients who want to know the lasers and a starting price before booking. Consider: the $40 figure is a starting price, so ask for a quote for your area.
2. Sonia Cosmetic Clinic: best for per-area prices near Sheppard
Where: 250 Sheppard Avenue East, Unit 203, North York. The clinic also lists a Richmond Hill location.
Sonia Cosmetic Clinic lists laser hair removal on a Candela laser, with prices on its price list: full face $59, bikini $80, men’s underarm $69 and full body $249. Its laser page says it uses FDA-approved lasers, that treatments are done by certified specialists or a certified technician, and that package deals are available for multiple sessions. The page offers a free skin assessment that covers hair type, skin tone and goals, and the price list also shows a one-hour consultation at $25, so confirm which applies when you book. The page does not list opening hours.
Best for: clients who want to see per-area prices in advance and who prefer a clinic near Sheppard and Bayview. Consider: package prices are not listed, and hours are not on the page.
3. Emerald Skin Lab: best for area-size pricing and weekday hours
Where: 5 Kenaston Gardens, Unit 2, facing Sheppard Avenue, near Bayview Village.
Emerald Skin Lab prices laser hair removal by the size of the area. Its online shop lists “from” prices of $129 for small areas such as upper lip, chin and sideburns, $257 for medium areas such as underarms, jawline and lower or upper arms, and $485 for large areas such as full legs, back, chest and Brazilian. It does not name the laser device and says treatments are done by expert technicians. Hours are Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 11 am to 5 pm, and it is closed Sunday. Free parking is available at the YMCA or Bayview Village Mall.
Best for: clients who want to know which price tier their area falls in. Consider: the device and technicians are not named.
4. NewDermaMed Laser Clinic (Uptown): best for a clinic at Yonge and Sheppard
Where: 4763 Yonge Street, near Sheppard-Yonge station.
NewDermaMed’s uptown clinic lists laser hair removal and offers a free consultation by online form, calendar or phone. It says it has been open for over 15 years. Laser hair removal prices are not on the page we read, and the page links to a separate fees and financing page. The device and who performs the treatment are not stated.
Best for: clients who want a transit-friendly location and a free consultation. Consider: ask for prices and the laser used at your consultation.
5. Perfection Cosmetic Clinic: best for a free consultation with licensed staff
Where: 97 Sheppard Avenue East.
Perfection Cosmetic Clinic offers a free consultation, where it says suitability is assessed. It states that procedures are performed by Ontario-licensed professionals and that it uses Health Canada-approved devices. It mentions membership discounts and packages but lists no prices, and it does not name the device or its hours on the page we read.
Best for: clients who want to talk to the clinic first before choosing a package. Consider: there are no published prices.
6. Clarixio Medical Aesthetics: best for Saturday hours on Finch
Where: 222 Finch Avenue West, Unit 215.
Clarixio lists laser hair removal and offers 10 percent off the first treatment for first-time customers if you mention it when booking. It does not list prices or name who performs the treatment. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. You book by phone or through the contact form.
Best for: clients who need Saturday availability near Finch and Yonge. Consider: prices and the practitioner are not listed.
7. Rejoo Clinic: best for a physician-led clinic
Where: North York. Its website gives a phone number and a booking option, but we did not find a street address on the page we read.
Rejoo Clinic names Dr. Jiyeh Joo as medical director and founder, and its site links to an Elite IQ laser hair removal page. It offers skin analysis and consultation and links to a separate price list, which we could not read. Hours are not listed on the page.
Best for: clients who prefer a physician-led clinic. Consider: check the price list and address when you call.
How to choose a laser hair removal clinic
Ask which laser is used. Distill Laser Clinic and Sonia Cosmetic Clinic name their lasers. Ask other clinics what they use and whether it suits your skin tone and hair colour.
Book the consultation first. Most clinics here offer one, and several offer it free. Ask for a written quote for your area.
Ask how many sessions to plan for. Hair removal is done as a series. Clinics describe it as multiple sessions, so ask how many your plan needs before you buy a package.
Compare prices carefully. A “from” price is a starting point. Ask what size the area is, what is included and whether a membership is required.
Ask who performs the treatment. Ask for the practitioner’s name and training, and who supervises.
