A researched shortlist of nine North York clinics for facials and skin rejuvenation, compared by published prices, treatments, hours and who each suits.

Independent ranking. No business paid to be on this list. Read how we rank.

Key takeaways

  • Sonia Cosmetic Clinic is our first pick for facials: it lists eight facials with prices, from $69 for microdermabrasion with light therapy to $200 for a Hydrafacial with carbon peel.
  • MJ Aesthetics publishes prices for PRP facial and under-eye treatments, mesotherapy and skin boosters, with a full-face PRP session at $300.
  • Emerald Skin Lab lists HydraFacial from $120 and chemical peels and microdermabrasion from $199. Most other clinics here do not publish facial prices.
  • A facial name does not tell you what is in it. Ask how long it takes, what products and devices are used and who performs it.

A good facial starts with a clear idea of what you want: a deep clean, help with acne, a brighter look or a more advanced skin treatment. Clinics use the same words for very different services, and prices range widely. This guide compares nine North York clinics for facials and skin rejuvenation, explains why each one is here and says who it suits best. For other treatments at the same clinics, see our Top 10 Medical Spas in North York. All details come from each clinic’s own website.

How we chose these clinics

We started with a broad pool of North York clinics found through search results, directory listings and published local guides. We then read each clinic’s own website and kept the ones where we could confirm the address and a facial or skin rejuvenation service. Several well-known clinics were left out because their sites did not allow us to read them or did not list enough information.

For each clinic we looked at:

  • Treatments: which facials and skin treatments are listed and how clearly they are described.
  • Transparency: whether prices, durations, hours and consultation details are easy to find.
  • Who is behind it: a named medical director or a statement about who performs treatments.
  • Access: location, opening hours and how you book.
  • Fit: who the clinic suits and where it may not.

We did not visit these clinics for this guide, and we did not use star ratings from review sites, because they cannot be compared fairly across platforms. Statements about equipment and experience are reported by the clinics themselves, and we say so where it applies. Read our full ranking method.

The nine clinics

1. Sonia Cosmetic Clinic: best for facials with prices

Where: 250 Sheppard Avenue East, Unit 203, North York.

Sonia Cosmetic Clinic has the clearest facial menu on our list. Its price list shows the Korean Glass Skin Facial at $179 for 90 minutes, the Hyperpigmentation Facial with light therapy at $149, the Hydrafacial with carbon peel at $200, the Classic Hydro Facial at $89.99, the Hydro Glow Facial at $120, the Anti Acne Facial at $120, the Green Peel with light therapy and mask at $180 and microdermabrasion with light therapy at $69. Each one runs about an hour unless noted. A one-hour consultation is listed at $25. The website does not list opening hours.

Best for: clients who want to compare facial types and prices before booking. Consider: the consultation carries a fee, and hours are not on the page.

2. MJ Aesthetics: best for PRP facial and skin boosters

Where: 1110 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 304, North York.

MJ Aesthetics focuses on skin rejuvenation treatments rather than classic spa facials, and it publishes prices. Its PRP facial and under-eye rejuvenation page lists the under-eye treatment at $250 for one session or $600 for three, the full face at $300 for one or $700 for three, and face and neck at $450 for one or $1,100 for three, with sessions of about 1 to 1.5 hours. Mesotherapy is $250 per session or $600 for three. Skin boosters and mesofillers run from $350 to $550 depending on the type and brand, and a skin regeneration injection with Profhilo is listed at $550. The site says every treatment plan begins with a consultation, and a free consultation is listed on its booking page.

Best for: clients looking for skin rejuvenation treatments with prices on the website. Consider: these are injectable and PRP treatments, not a spa-style facial, so ask what to expect.

3. Emerald Skin Lab: best for HydraFacial, peel and acne therapy prices

Where: 5 Kenaston Gardens, Unit 2, near Bayview Village.

Emerald Skin Lab lists HydraFacial from $120, with signature, deluxe and platinum versions that share one starting price. A signature session is listed at 30 minutes, and the platinum at about 75 minutes. Chemical peel and microdermabrasion are each from $199, and a multi-step acne therapy that includes a chemical peel is from $299.40. It also names other facials, such as the BelaMD and Korean facials, without prices. The site does not say who performs the facials. Hours are Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 11 am to 5 pm, and it is closed Sunday.

Best for: clients who want HydraFacial or acne therapy and want to know the starting price. Consider: the HydraFacial price is the same “from” price for all three versions, so ask which one you are booking.

4. NewDermaMed Laser Clinic (Uptown): best for a free skin analysis

Where: 4763 Yonge Street, near Sheppard-Yonge station. A downtown clinic is listed at 790 Bay Street.

NewDermaMed’s uptown clinic lists a VISIA skin analysis, microneedling, the Age Element facial, chemical peels, micro laser peel, microdermabrasion, exosome skin therapy and treatments for acne, melasma and rosacea. Microneedling is listed at $249 as a monthly special for selected packages. The clinic says initial consultations are free and that a free VISIA skin analysis is offered. Other prices are on a separate pricing page that we could not read, and hours are not listed.

Best for: clients who want a skin analysis and a plan before choosing a treatment. Consider: ask for prices at your consultation.

5. Skinlab Medispa: best for a wide treatment menu and seven-day hours

Where: B2-78 Finch Avenue East.

Skinlab Medispa lists Venus Glow Hydrafacial, a medical-grade chemical peel, an acne shot, photodynamic therapy and a long menu of laser and light devices, along with tightening treatments. Prices are not on the page. It is by appointment only and open Monday and Tuesday 11 am to 7 pm and Thursday to Sunday 11 am to 7 pm, closed Wednesday. You book through Vagaro or by phone.

Best for: clients who want a Hydrafacial and the option of device-based treatments at the same clinic. Consider: no prices are listed, so ask before you book.

6. Perfection Cosmetic Clinic: best for HydraFacial and SkinCeuticals peels

Where: 97 Sheppard Avenue East, near Sheppard-Yonge station.

Perfection Cosmetic Clinic lists HydraFacial MD, SkinCeuticals chemical peels, radio frequency microneedling and PRP face therapy. It offers a free consultation and says it is near the subway. Prices and hours are not on the page we read.

Best for: clients who want a free consultation before choosing between facials and advanced treatments. Consider: no prices or hours are listed.

7. Distill Laser Clinic: best for laser facials with a named medical director

Where: 1275 Finch Avenue West, Suite 407, in the University Heights Medical Building.

Distill Laser Clinic lists microdermabrasion, microneedling, chemical peels, red carpet and Nd:YAG laser facials, LED treatment and PRP among its skin services. It does not list prices for these, and it does not list HydraFacial. The site names Dr. Sarwat Ibrahim as medical director. Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, and the consultation is free and usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.

Best for: clients interested in laser-based facials. Consider: no facial prices are published.

8. Clarixio Medical Aesthetics: best for acne scar and skin rejuvenation

Where: 222 Finch Avenue West, Unit 215.

Clarixio lists skin rejuvenation, micro-needling, acne scar treatments, wrinkle correction, skin tightening and a 5D collagen laser. First-time customers get 10 percent off their first treatment if they mention it when booking. Prices are not listed. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Best for: clients focused on acne scars or skin tightening. Consider: it does not list a classic facial, and prices are not published.

9. Rejoo Clinic: best for a physician-led skin analysis

Where: North York. We did not find a street address on the page we read.

Rejoo Clinic names Dr. Jiyeh Joo as medical director and founder. Its site lists a facial and chemical peel, microneedling, VISIA skin analysis, acne and acne scar treatment and pigmentation and melasma treatment, with a separate price list that we could not read. Hours are not stated.

Best for: clients who prefer a physician-led clinic. Consider: check the price list and the address when you call.

How to choose a facial clinic

Match the treatment to your goal. A deep-cleansing facial, an acne facial and a PRP treatment do different things. Ask what the clinic recommends for your concern and why.

Ask what is in the name. Terms like “glow” or “glass skin” are not standard. Ask how long it takes, what products or devices are used and what is included.

Check who performs it. Ask for the practitioner’s name and training, and who supervises.

Compare prices fairly. A “from” price is a starting point. Ask what the base price covers, such as add-ons, light therapy or a mask.

Book a consultation first. Several clinics here offer a free one. Ask for a written plan with prices.
